Costing Accountant – Haram Factory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs, labor, and material expenses to calculate total product cost and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing cost forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to compare actual costs with budgeted amounts.
  • Product Costing: Develop and maintain product cost estimates and perform profitability analyses by product line, project, or service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and calculate and analyze variances in inventory valuation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, providing insights into cost trends and their impact on profitability.
  • Standard Costing: Develop and update standard costs to reflect labor, materials, and production process changes.
  • Cost Control Initiatives: identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities within production and operational processes.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during periodic audits, ensuring cost and inventory records accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems ( Odoo ) and advanced in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
