QC Engineer (Production) – Sadat Factory

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor critical quality parameters during production to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct in-process testing for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
• Track and analyze key production data (e.g., batch records, temperature, pH, moisture content) and provide real-time feedback to operators to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Identify and resolve process-related quality issues quickly to minimize production delays. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and rectify issues related to equipment, raw materials, and processes.
• Collect in-process samples for lab analysis, ensuring that all product characteristics remain within established specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of quality checks, including batch reports, non-conformities, corrective actions, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, hygiene, and safety protocols throughout the production process. Assist in audits, inspections, and investigations related to product quality.
• Work closely with the production team to implement process improvements, optimize yields, reduce waste, and improve overall product consistency.
• Provide training to production staff on IPC standards and the importance of maintaining quality throughout the production process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in quality control, preferably in herbal or food product manufacturing.
• Familiarity with In-Process Control (IPC) methods and equipment in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and industry regulations related to herbal or food production.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make process adjustments.
• Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
