HSE Section Head – Haram Factory

Responsibilities:

• Inspections & Compliance: Conduct and supervise daily safety inspections, ensuring compliance with company policies, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and government regulations.
• Risk Management: Develop and update the site’s risk analysis program annually for current and new roles.
• Incident Management: Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Training & Awareness: Plan and conduct safety training and awareness campaigns for all site workers.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and test emergency response plans, including evacuation drills and corrective actions.
• Contractor Oversight: Ensure contractor safety compliance and conduct regular assessments.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on safety performance, ensuring task completion from tracking registers.
• Pest Control Oversight: Manage pest control compliance, inspections, investigations, and environmental impact assessment.
• Leadership & Development: Lead site safety teams, coach safety specialists, and maintain emergency equipment readiness.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Sciences.
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificates and Diploma are a plus.

Experience:

• Previous experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, either in a supervisory or executive position, for no less than 5-7 years.
• Experience in risk assessment, developing mitigation plans, and managing emergency incidents.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders, such as suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to identify problems and find effective solutions.
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
