Senior Planning Engineer – Haram Factory

Job Purpose:
The Senior planning engineer is responsible for leading the production planning process to ensure the efficient allocation of resources, timely delivery of products, and optimization of production workflows. This role will play a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency, mentoring junior planners, and supporting the factory’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory analysis, and operational capabilities.

• Monitor daily production activities and proactively address any deviations from the plan.

• Lead coordination between Production, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales departments to ensure seamless execution of the production schedule.

• Analyze production processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to enhance output and reduce costs.

• Manage raw material planning and ensure timely availability based on forecasted and actual demand.

• Provide leadership and technical support to junior planners, assisting them in improving planning accuracy and efficiency.

• Generate periodic reports, KPIs, and data analysis to support management decision-making.

• Develop contingency plans for unexpected production issues or supply chain disruptions.

• Collaborate with management to align production planning with long-term business strategies.

• Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, and company operational standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Production, Mechanical, or a related field).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.

• Strong expertise in production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply chain coordination.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Odoo or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Outstanding communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Based near or willing to relocate to El Sadat City.

Work Conditions:

• Location: El Sadat Factory.

• Transportation is provided from the main routes to the factory.
